Reepham Methodist Church's Pantomime Project

Interested in drama?  Can you sing? Play an instrument?   Good at painting?  Costume design?  Just would like to be involved?

We are running a drama club from September 2018 to January 2019 with a view to putting on a performance in January 2019, and not just any performance.  We are putting on a pantomime and inviting anyone who wants to be involved to come along and join in.  Any age, any level of ability.  All that's needed is a willingness to have fun.

There will be singing and dancing and scripts to learn, but even if you don't want to star in the production, come along and help out with the "backstage" elements of running a pantomime.

If you are interested, then come along on Friday 14th September 2018 at 7pm in the Methodist Church School Room to find out more details.

Below is a message from Paddy Our Youth Worker.

As you maybe aware I joined Rayzone as the youth worker in September 2015, but I must now inform you of the sad news that I will be leaving Rayzone at the end of August this year   I have had a wonderful 3 years with Rayzone and enjoyed making friends with all of you and watching you grow and develop over this time.

Although this may come as sad news to you, I can inform that Rayzone will return after the summer break in September and the trustees are currently working on the activities that the club will provide, this will include drama with Philip and Stephanie Chapman as they work towards including some of you if not all of you in next years church panto to be held here in January 2019.  This I will hopefully be able to attend.

The trustees are looking at other activities to put on as they are aware that dram may not appeal to all of you and I am hopeful that either one of the trustees or myself can inform you of these in June or July.  It is hoped that during the course of this term both Philip and Stephanie will attend at least one of our evenings, so you can get a chance to meet them and get to know them better and they can do the same with you.

Although I will still be around until the end of August I can confirm that the final Friday night Rayzone group I will be at will be on Friday 20th July 2018 and in schools the same week.  However, the date of my last schools visit maybe earlier depending on what end of term activities the school are doing and there request for me to attend.

At this point I would like to thank all of you for attending Razyone over the last three years whether or are new or have been attending for some time.  I would also like to thank both Ian and Peter who have helped me on a Friday every other week between them and Frances, Frances and Michel who have come along and helped when they have been able to.  Finally, I would like to thank the trustees of Rayzone for all their help and support over the last three years in their encouragement to develop my skills as I have worked alongside you all.

I will be taking away many happy memories of my time with you and look forward to the remainder of my time with you during this term and wish you all the best for you and for Rayzone following my departure.
